A Federation of three Outstanding Nursery Schools and a Children’s Centre
A hub of expertise for the Early Years Foundation Stage
We educate and care for children in three schools that have been rated outstanding by Ofsted. BEYA is a community hub, providing affordable, flexible early education and childcare ‘all year round’ for 2, 3 and 4 year olds and 5, 6 and 7 year olds in school holidays.
BEYA is a National Teaching School, working collaboratively with others to improve quality, enhance life chances and train the early years workforce of the future. Teaching Schools take a leading role in recruiting and training new entrants to the profession. Teaching schools raise standards through supporting other schools, engaging in research and development and working to develop the leaders of the future.
Young children in and around BEYA are benefitting from being in an Early Years Hub funded by the Mayor of London’s office. The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, is delivering on his pledge to improve access to high-quality, affordable early years education for the most disadvantaged families in London. BEYA is one of only three Early Years Hubs across London
The Hub works with early years providers and local families to improve the take up of free quality childcare and early education provision for eligible 2-year-olds. Its key priorities include improving early years provision for the most disadvantaged children, promoting early years as a career and ensuring families have access to early help services.
